How to play
Steer your squad

Drag left and right to move your squad across the road. Your soldiers fire on their own, so all you do is pick the path.
Pick the right gate

Blue gates add soldiers or multiply your squad. Red gates take them away. When gates stand side by side, you go through the one nearest your squad.
Shoot gates to charge them

Plus and minus gates have a bar of 10 boxes. Shooting a gate fills its bar, and every full bar raises its value by 1. Multiply and divide gates don't change.
Grab a weapon

Purple gates hand you a new weapon: Rifle, SMG, Shotgun, Cannon, Laser or Sniper. Take the weapon you already carry to level it up, with +20% damage per level up to Lv 3.
Face the general

Every fifth stage ends with a general. Read the tip on their intro card, watch for the warning marks and keep your squad out of the blast. Beat the general to free the land and open the next chapter.
Tips & tricks

Use your hero's skill
Buy a hero in the Shop with coins. Their skill button is ready at the start of every match: tap it when the ring pulses, then wait for it to recharge. Rook's Bulwark stops your squad from losing soldiers for a few seconds.

Free the prisoners
Shoot a prisoner cage until its number runs out to add up to 20 soldiers to your squad.

Break the supply wagons
From stage 6, supply wagons roll toward you with soldiers, coins, a weapon upgrade or a hero. Destroy one to take the loot. If it reaches you in one piece, it costs you soldiers instead.

Shoot through barricades, steer around saws
Barricades show how much damage they can take. Running into one that is still standing costs soldiers, so shoot it down first. Saws can't be destroyed: stay out of their lane.

Keep your squad big for three stars
Stars depend on how many soldiers you still have at the finish, compared with your biggest squad in that stage. Keep at least 60% of it alive for three stars.
Pierce the shields
Some enemies carry shields that soak up your bullets. Laser and Sniper shots go straight through them, and so do Blaze's Firebomb and Volt's lightning.
Know your foes
Captain Grumble, the Tax Collector- Shoot his tax collectors before they reach you! Every one that gets through steals soldiers from your squad.
Admiral Brine, Scourge of the Shore- Red circles mark where cannonballs land. Move!
Shogun Kurohana, the Silent Blossom- She leaps between lanes. Follow her, and dodge when she dives at you!
General Dunehorn, Rider of the Red Sands- Sidestep his charge. His shield blocks shots while he charges, so hit him hard on his way back.
General Rimeclaw, the Frozen Fist- Frost slows your squad and its fire rate. Stay off the ice!
Duke Bonbon, the Sugar Tyrant- Keep firing! His candy shield regrows if you let up.
FAQ
Is Last Charge free?
Yes. It is free to play and supported by ads. There are no in-app purchases or paid content, and the coins you earn in the game have no real-world value.
How many ads will I see?
At most one full-screen ad before each general battle, every fifth stage. A short notice counts down for 3 seconds first, so the ad never appears by surprise. No ads load while you play offline.
How do I get heroes?
Buy them in the Shop with the coins you earn in every stage, then upgrade them up to level 5. Rook is available from the first chapter; Blaze, Echo, Volt and Hawk arrive in later chapters.
Where is my progress saved?
Only on your device. It is not included in Android backups, so uninstalling the game or clearing its storage deletes it.
What data does the game collect?
We don't collect or receive your personal data. Google AdMob, which shows the ads, collects some device and usage data, such as your advertising ID and approximate location. Read the privacy policy
